Resumen:
Continuous Manufacturing is an advanced technology that has gained attention during the past decade
and has been promoted by regulatory agencies such as FDA, EMA and PMDA; thus, there are a few examples
of its application in the manufacturing of drug substances and

. Green Chemistry
is an approach that looks for a Sustainable Development and that has been use by agencies such as EPA, encouraging the industry to have more efficient and cleaner technologies, avoiding the generation of waste, seizing the starting materials and reducing their carbon footprint.
In the current paper a case review is presented to show the examples available so far to demonstrate that by implementing a continuous process, principles of the Green Chemistry can be upheld in the manufacturing of drug substances and drug products.
